Old Sea Brigade and Luke Sital-Singh collaborated together to create this beautiful, gentle, sad, uplifting song that I instantly fell in love with. As I often do, this was discovered by chance during 2023 while looking for new music, and I was immediately captivated by the imagery of the lyrics, simplicity of the melody and lyrics, ambience of the production, gentle acoustic guitars, and the vocals and harmonies to become my most played song of the week, one of my favourite songs of the year, and probably my favourite folk / ballad of 2023 (Spotify listed it in my top 5 songs of 2023). I still regularly listen to it, and play it on my guitar from time to time. I always seems to find a personal connection in this song, in good times and otherwise. For those fleeting moments, it manages to bring the most exquisite beauty and wonder and connection for my sometimes wandering soul.

However, according to Spotify’s latest information, it seems that Ben has recently relocated to Stockholm for a change of scenery. Luke’s music has been described as indie folk with “a sense of Southern-gothic”
